FHT will have dual coverage CNBC tonight and tomorrow plus the "teaser" compared it to EBAY.

Great potential for major gap tomorrow.

Fingerhut takes stake in freeshop.com

MINNEAPOLIS, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Direct marketer and online
retailer Fingerhut Companies Inc. said Monday it has acquired a 19.9
percent equity interest in FreeShop International Inc. which operates
www.freeshop.com, an Internet shopping Web site.

FreeShop offers thousands of free and trial offers, brand name products at discount prices, a shopping
search engine and membership clubs to its 1.2 million online customers.

In announcing the investment in FreeShop, Fingerhut chief executive Ted Deikel said the company intends
to become one of the nation's leading full service electronic commerce companies. ''Our investment in
FreeShop expands our Internet portfolio, strengthens our e-commerce position, and most importantly
brings us access to FreeShop's 1.2 million Internet customers for cross-selling opportunities,'' he said in a
statement.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Fingerhut sells products and services through catalogs, direct marketing, and the Internet.

i respectfully disagree on 11/30 FHT moved 3 points on less than 2mil vol and it has alos moved 1 1/2points on other occasions on vol of less than 2 mil. Float is not 40 mil but 33 mil. Being on the nyse does not preclude stocks from moving and your caution is not warranted since NYSE is far more orderly than the naz. If they continue to compare FHT to ebay it will move if not it won"t
