Jim,
You have spoken very well. What a great democracy this is.However the democrats would have done the same, because they are mostly lawyers as well, and they screw around as well.As I said before they are parasites and vampires, including the democrats .

Jim, ** OT **

Thanks for a terrific post! I think we are of one mind on many of these issues. The Republicans tell us this is not about sex (of course they must publish hundreds of sexually explicit pages to establish balance), but rather, it is about lying. But when the Clinton team points to the convoluted definition of sex given by the judge in the Jones case, they claim that's just a legalism. And of course, the comment they have on tape from Monica Lewinsky, who said to Linda Tripp that oral sex does not constitute sexual relations, is ignored.

Here's what I think of the matter:

Did Clinton deliberately mislead the country about his sexual escapades? Undoubtedly!

Was justice denied to Paula Jones? No!

Did Clinton commit perjury? Maybe, I don't know. It depends on definitions, what was actually said in context and what the law says constitutes perjury. But certainly criminal charges could be brought after Clinton leaves office.

Is perjury on a personal matter impeachable? No.

TTFN,
CTC
