Hi Janice, thanks for post. As I posted a little while earlier, I started reading this thread because a friend of mine was worried he was going to be sued for getting into it with another SI member. It seems like a lot of flame wars devolve into threats of lawsuits. Hope the thought of being sued does not "chill" debate by those who have much to contribute.

In addition, the IP addresses are often "trunked" coming through AOL, thus making the identification process much more difficult. The email addresses given by the posters in question, and their multiple previous identities have always come through AOL&#151whether by design or 'dumb luck', I do not know.
