You may well be right. But perhaps the real reason is that the business is going well, Castle Creek had no leverage in staying the course, since it would forfeit the opportunity to participate in a follow-on tranche, and the 1/27 date was a modest negative in negotiations with OEMs.

Tiki: FWIW dept....There is a Consumer Electronics Show show that's taking place the week of January 7th-10th in Vegas. Mighten it not be a very opportune time to announce a contract with one of the OEMs that are sure to be there? Too, right after the first of the year is always (usually??!) a time when big bucks come back into the market if the CNBCers are correct. If I were looking at doing something for the stockholders, pricewise, I'd say that this OES show would be the most opportune time to let 'er all hang out..!
And considering the way Lev was acting last Friday (a happy camper!) I wouldn't put it past him to pull this off!
But I guess we'll see...although there certainly was a very nice move today on moderate volume.
Luck to us all, Dennis
