Thanks for that, Vaughn. I forget our intrusions are but the weathered remains of far larger systems. I would maintain, however, that the nearer the source, the greater the likelihood of imperfect stones in the downslope gravels. Of course, where these have been reworked, as in South American alluvials/eluvials, the likelihood diminishes.

In any event, this is all an exciting bonus to the wider Klipspringer story.
