Does anyone know the following:
(1) Is AMZN the first company to ever become part of the NASDAQ 100
before ever earning a penny in profits ?
(2) Are there many funds which invest in the NASDAQ 100 index ?
What I am really wondering is will a great deal of new money be
invested in AMZN as a result of the company being added to the
index ?
(3) With the likes of YHOO and AMZN the aggregate p/e ratio for securities making up the NASDAQ 100 Index must be sky high. (MSFT, CSCO while excellent companies certainly have high p/e 's as well).
