Betty, you know that all crimes are considered "alleged" until they are, or are not, proved conclusively in court. It's part of all that "innocent until proven guilty" hang-up we have.

So, I personally, will continue to use the term "alleged crimes", with or without quotation marks, until the Clinton impeachment goes to trial in the Senate (as I am sure it will).

Of course, if Clinton had had the guts to admit to fooling around with Lewinsky when the cat was first let out of the bag, we would probably all have been spared this spectacle...
