Nope....no hurtin here DM....surviving.

I'm still riding some Canadian stocks that have survived the carnage today.

Everyone might want to pay more attention to PLACER DOME (PDG.NYSE) as they announced a merger today which lopped $3.00 per share off their price.

If the DOW and NASDAQ tank again tomorrow, gold stocks will be back in play and PDG will make solid gains from current price of about $18.95 per share. It ran much higher in October and August during the market turmoil. Also watch Homestake Mining (HM) and Kinross Gold (K.TSE) for short term volatility .

DM: CPU - They have a history of disappointments and always seem to bring something new to the table to disappoint. I have been following them for a long time.

I personally wouldn't touch them. May be good for some quickies though.

>>All- Hope no one was hurt to badly today.

Not me, thanks for asking. I'm all cash and will remain so for the near term. Looks like things are heading south in the near term.
