Thanks for the mention of being cautious around fiber. The construction worker made a similar statement.

I don't think I will get a chance to get up close for the splicing of the fibers should I happen upon them doing it. They were sticklish about me going anywhere near the 'right-of-way' (the train tracks). They said there are always 'railroad men' around who won't let people be near the tracks who shouldn't be.

Being a stockholder of Qwest probably won't hold much weight with those guys (no pun intended).
