Cat,

OT

Clinton is a lawyer, and quite bright. I would have thought that he might have figured out that he might get caught - nah! I can outsmart 'em all!

Regards,

Ken

~OT~ Of all of the lies you cited, in their defense I can say that 1) the laws in regards to these activities have changed since they happened (with the exception of Iran-Contra), and 2) there is at least an argument that national security interests prevented disclosure.

The really sick thing is that the subject matter of Clinton's lie is all related to his own self-serving interests, and doesn't even have anything to do with anything important. Nevertheless, he thought it was important enough to subvert the laws, usurp the powers granted to the judicial and legislative branches, argue BS privileges, and deprive one woman of her day in court by lying to a grand jury and then lie again to another.

This man is an absolute pig that has snowed so many people into believing that he's such a wonderful person. I am ashamed that this man has never, not one time, stood up an said without condition, that he lied to all of us and was truly remorseful about it.

The reason he can't do that is because he will face indictment as soon as he leaves office, and any further admissions will simply count against him. People are prosecuted for all kinds of perjury, annually. Are you saying that he's above the law?

Respectfully, who's the naive one here?
