puzzle pieces...this is old but just reread this since it was referenced at your research page (Bema that is) and decided to see what thier latest release said, here it is, notice some of these guys connections...Geez !!!

VANCOUVER -- Bema Gold Corporation (''the Company'') is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas I.A. Allen, Q.C. and Mr. Cole McFarland to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Allen is a senior partner with the law firm Ogilvy Renault representing that firm from both its Toronto and London offices. He practices securities law, arbitration and mediation. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada.

Mr. McFarland has enjoyed a distinguished career in the mining industry working for over 35 years for the Placer Dome Group of Companies in various engineering, management and executive responsibilities. Most recently he held the position of President Placer Dome U.S. from 1987 until his retirement in 1995. Mr. McFarland received his Mining Engineering Degree at Washington State University in 1954 and followed up with post-graduate studies in Geology and Exploration at McGill University.

The Directors of Bema are pleased to welcome Mr. Allen and Mr. McFarland to the Board, and believe their vast experience will greatly benefit the Company as we pursue our growth as a gold producer. Mike since when does a MM purchase anything...they simply use their mastercard to pay off the visa that was used to pay off the american express which was used to pay off the carte blance which was used to pay off the platinum mastercard which was used to pay off the sears which was used to pay off the home depot which cancelled their account for failure to pay on time...ROFLMAO

From the ARP thread, here's whats so funny we have been talking breccia and diatreme for months. I think even ARP will look small when we compare it all in the end...IMO lol!!!

I just talked to Patricio Jones and Lucas Lundin at the King Eddie. These boys are not taking an offers real soon from any of the 4 interested companies. And I can see why. It is true that Barrick has 9.9% of the company and 40% of the deposit but it ain't over yet. I said 7 million ounces and I was wrong. They are saying 5 million and they are wrong too. But we will wait and see. Very interesting talk. You should have been there.

15 million year old rock and 9 to 5 million year old alteration. A true diatreme related deposit. I did not hear manto but I think that is it. The potential is large. The quartz-alunite zone surrounding the breccia is not even explored yet
