I agree, I always thought that ancr's advantage was in the cost due to their level of ASIC integration. Also, hopefully, the impressive marketing team they put together is or will pay nice dividends. Can't help thinking about what the price per share might be without the doubling of shares, probably around 7 dollars, but maybe the floorless convertible, the shorts, and all the other stuff is behind us. I dont know what revenues this latest news will bring but the credibility is so imp. now. brocade has signed up some oem's but some of the bigger ones wont want to play second fiddle to their competition at the same vendor.

High performance graphics system? If so, it starts at the workstations end and work its way up, servers, storage, connectivity, the whole 9 yards. IMO SGI is calling the most shots, if not all. The users most likely have SGI workstations in mind and it is up to SGI to recommend other peripherals. If I am the user, I would not go to Prisa and ask for something that "simply just works". I have already determined the type of workstations that I want/need. Other devices can be secondary to my decision. The workstation that I want better deliver the type of performance and resolution I expect and work without a glitch. In other words, SGI, in this case, has to choose the right peripherals to support the entire 'solution'. KJ
