Fujitsu, 3Com Corp Launch Network Software Product

TOKYO -- Japan's Fujitsu Ltd. (FJTSY or 6702) and 3Com Corp. (COMS) of the U.S. announced Tuesday a new network software product that reduces costs for consumers.

The product integrates Fujitsu's System Walker - an integrated management software program - with 3Com's Transcend Enterprise Manager for Windows.

The companies expect to sell 500 solution packages over the next three years in Japan. Each package will be priced at Y750,000. Fujitsu will sell the product through 3Com's distributor.

Yahoo in deal to bring Internet content to Palm Pilots

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec 15 (Reuters) - Yahoo! Inc, one of the
most popular destinations for news and information on the
Internet, on Tuesday said it will offer an easier way for
computer users to update scheduling and contact data on
computers using the Yahoo web site as a transfer point.

Yahoo said it is introducing a test version of a product that will
enable users to transfer information from Yahoo online
calendars or address books into popular 3Com Palm Pilot
handheld computers or other computer devices running
Microsoft Outlook software.
