Now, why am I not at all surprised with his, "Who said that liberals are people?"? Because hardly a generation ago, these were the folks who were openly saying, "Who said that Blacks are people?" (they still might say it, but dare not say it on a public forum where such a view can be easily exposed to be a case of unadulterated bigotry...).
