Cirruslvr,

Re: "Raw FPU power of the PII show here ... Conclusions?"

Yes, the K6-2 400/100 is "craps" ... The only benchmark that it does well
on is Quake II ??

Re: "Lighting & Transformation
...... Katmai/500 63.3
...... Pentium II/500 36.3
...... K6--2/400 36.4"

Appears that the "KNI" instructions make a big difference ... and ... 3DNOW
is "craps".

Re: "Windows NT 4.0 Business Winstone 99
..... Pentium II/500/100 31.4
..... Katmai/500/100 31.2
..... Pentium II/450/100 29.5
..... Pentium II/400/100 28.3
..... Pentium II/350/100 26.3
..... K6--2/400/100 25.6"

On business applications, the K6-2 400/100 can't even keep up with a
PII 350/100 ??

This is NOT good, IMHO.

Make It So,
Yousef

Shawn,
From what I've seen, it appears the K6-3 will give the Katmai a run for the money. <eom>
