James Strauss,

Did Clinton lie to a grand jury? What is disturbing is that too many people, like yourself, want him to be able to get away with it. He lied, he disgraced the office of president, he should not be allowed to continue.......and, he should be punished.

I'm probably stating the obvious, but when the President, the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of our country, lies under oath in a sworn deposition, then shouldn't we consider impeachment?

Unless of course the President was telling the truth when he said he couldn't recall being alone with Monica Lewinsky.....

cigars, oral sex......and he can't recall being alone with her?......

Okay.......Even if he was telling the truth under oath when he said he couldn't recall being alone with her, I want a President with a better memory than that.

And if George Bush had been accused of these acts, I have a funny feeling that women's rights' groups would have been camped out and protesting along Pennsylvania Ave. since January demanding Bush's impeachment......

>>Having sex is not an impeachable act...

Based on the Grand Jury definition of sex Clinton didn't lie from a legal point of view...

Yes, what he did was stupid, but not an impeachable offense... What he was guilty of was being a Democrat... Ask yourself, if this was George Bush, do you think the Starr and Hyde gang would have been so persistent???

You can't be that dumb at this late date. Clinton ain't being impeached because he had sex or is stupid, it's his perjury, witness tampering and obstruction of justice that requires impeachment.

The Dems would have impeached any Rep that had done half as much as Clinton has done. And they would not have agonized over it either.
