Republicans wont cease impeachment because of Clinton's arrogance. George Stephanapolous summed it up perfectly when he said that just when he appears out of trouble his arrogance puts him right back. He could have made a deal with them but instead he gloated and flaunted and pissed them off. No he won't be removed from office but they will send him to the Senate trial and he will go down in history as a disgrace unless he cops a deal with them. And that deal would be a tax cut and some other things that would make every investor very happy.
