Everyone: Will the AMD-K7 be Worth the Wait?

600mhz, 128K L1, MMX2, and more make for a compelling platform.
my concern is how screwed up the K6's can be with AGP Cards and
SDRAM when compared to Intel's P2 >350mhz motherboard solutions.
I love my old AMD-K6-200 based machine, and would like to stay
with their products; could anyone out there belay my concerns
or at least tell me if they too are holding back on their next
machine in the hopes that the K7 will be ontime and superior.

My machine will have a 300a tested at 450MHz, 128ram PC100, 10gig IBM Deskstar, Matrox Millennium G200 8mb AGP, IN-Win Full Tower case with extra fan, rest pretty much standard.
I wandered into an online auction today and bought a Panasonic Panasync SL90 19" monitor for $441. I know nothing but noticed that the price was lower than on pricewatch or Computer Shopper. Does anyone have an opinion?
