Institutional playing

Still wondering when the institutions will start to move this thing. Our #1 institution, Columbus Circle Investors, has registered purchases of 950,000 shares over the last 7 months or so and 450,000 bought in the last quarter (more than accounting for the sells of Sapp). Columbus Circle is part of Pimco Advisors which has $229 billion in assets. According to stocksmart, Columbus Circle's top 10 investments account for more than $1.6 billion, so IFCI is a drop in the bucket and they could easily move IFCI wherever they want.

You can read a bit more about Pimco and Columbus Circle Investors in the following link. Click on "Pimco Advisors" button on the bottom left.

Was looking around for other 'smallish' tech companies that Columbus is investing in lately. They include stocks like THQI, WCII and TXCC. Interesting thing about TXCC is that three of their top 10 institutional investors are also in IFCI's top 10 institutional investors (and Columbus is TXCC's #2 institution and was the #1 until recently)

TXCC's earnings and growth are similar to that expected by IFCI (TXCC expects 37 cents this year and 70 cents next year). The big difference is that TXCC has moved from around $7 to near $30/share over the last year.

Just one of those things that make you go Hmmmm.
