BECAUSE THEY ARE FOOLS & CANNOT SEE PAST THIS PITIFUL LITTLE STOCK!!! Whoever buys Amazon at these prices will get literally creamed ,those market makers cannot hold these high prices as you saw today from 230 to 222 in the blink of an eye& it can literally give up 40 points in the blink of an eye!!! LONGS WATCH OUT

Good point re: JCPenney. Explosion taking place in E-commerce requires an equal and opposite reaction elsewhere. JCPenney is a prime target -- vulnerable to security-minded consumers who want to park in front of the store they visit or, if possible, do their shopping online - the ultimate convenience. Wouldn't want to own JCPenney. Last year I fought traffic to go to Best Buy for a computer for my son. This year I bought it online -- took 10 minutes instead of an hour and a half.

JC PENNY about the same mkt cap as AMZN. Look at the differences in revenue and earnings. Why would one pay 220$ for a business that is losing tons of money. imo. quote.yahoo.com; jach, I am about as big a bear on AMZZ as anyone that ever existed<G> However, the market does not care that AMZN has a market cap that exceeds all these companys. Why are you constantly pointing out the obvious? I am sure everyone on this thread is well aware of these comparisons. Glenn
