<Mr Starr decided that there was insufficient evidence to impeach Mr Clinton over the files and travel office, but the investigations are apparently not "dry holes" as the Democrats say. Mrs Clinton is suspected of being the main force behind both.>

Yesss !

Although most of us suspected this from the beginning, it's nice to FINALLY begin seeing this in print !

James- From a link in the article you posted & linked-

Bill Clinton, as quoted in the Telegraph:

<<"I understand that accountability demands consequences, and I am prepared to accept them. Painful though the condemnation of Congress would be, it would pale in comparison to the consequences of the pain I have caused my family.>>

The disingenuous sleazebag! He knows very well that censure by Congress, while another stain on his sleazy presidency and career, contains essentially no real bite. It will not crimp his style one bit, and his presidency is essentially at a dead end at this point. The man Monica referred to as "the jerk" still aspires to act in his normal manner in the White House without having to accept consequences.

As for his touching reference to the pain he caused his family: well, all men err. But Sleazebag Bill has, while President, continued a pattern of a lifetime of peddling his sex organs to any willing female receptacle. Apparently he was not sufficiently concerned about the impact on his family to do anything about his habits.

Gaaawd, what a greeceball. This con man thinks the rest of us are fools! Oh, to judge by this thread, in all too many cases he's right!
