Through this alliance, mutual customers worldwide will be able to leverage the tested consulting and implementation support of IBM Global Services' Enterprise Document Management Solutions and Services (EDMS&S) practice and FileNET's Panagon™ integrated document management (IDM) software to obtain the maximum business value from their enterprise document management (EDM), imaging and workflow solutions.

The alliance will build upon the current success FileNET and IBM Global Services, IBM's fastest-growing business segment, have experienced during the past three years as they worked together to deliver workflow and document imaging solutions to companies in various markets. As part of the global alliance, FileNET and IBM Global Services will leverage FileNET's Panagon IDM family of products to satisfy customer demands for integrated document management solutions in a number of industries, including financial services, insurance, utilities, process manufacturing, telecommunications and all levels of the public sector.
