Well, anytime I see these arguments about how Banshee (and V3) can't win OEM deals because they're missing this or that I just want to ask them, "OK, then explain ATI to me, Einstein."

Boy, is DIMD desperate or what? It's too bad V3 is going to lose all them OEM deals to all those chipsets that already have AGP-4X support. Oh wait. There aren't any? What? There isn't even a chipset which implements it? I'm so confused.

How much did DIMD pay Sharkey for this lead-in?

SE: You mentioned choosing the best chipset for a particular graphics accelerator. 3Dfx has received a lot of heat about the specifications of Voodoo3: no 32-bit rendering, no 4X AGP and no support for 32MB. Maybe Voodoo3 isn't the best chipset for next-generation graphics accelerators?

Gee, how many 32bit, AGP-4X, 32MB video cards is DIMD shipping anyway?
