Hey folks,
Later today I'll post the info on the new IR company that I understand will represent ADOT. I'd like to touch base with them myself first and let them know I plan to post their info on an internet discussion thread. Just common courtesy to give them a heads up (and also to confirm I have the right number).

I've received a couple of messages referring to a comment I posted yesterday that implied good things were going to happen with ADOT in the Spring of '99. Ugh and Super-Ugh... My friend read the thread yesterday and was disappointed that I gave the impression he had some sort of insider knowledge. He wanted me to stress that he doesn't have insider info and his comment suggesting good things were coming up was, in the final analysis, speculation. Even when he tells me Biomoda is going public he is deriving this from a calculation of public knowledge. It is apparently common knowledge that Biomoda needs money to continue to the next stage, and it is common knowledge that private companies go public to raise money.

My conscience has been troubling me a little that my posts yesterday may have had a tinge of "hype" feel to them. I don't want to be the kind of person who gives hope where hope is unwarranted. I had a enlightening talk with Tom Burke yesterday about what a hell-on-wheels ADOT has been for him this past year. So I'm very clear hype is not the medicine this stock needs.

As for the man I keep calling "my friend," I should point out I've never met him in person and when I talk with him on the phone there's no mysterious aura to his personality at all. He's just a regular guy who saw some posts I made on SI and thought it would be fun to talk stocks with me. So he emailed his number a while back and we talk on the phone now and again. I soon learned he had a lot more experience than I had so why not tap his knowledge and view him as a stock teacher as well as a good conversationalist. Yesterday, my posts may have painted him to be a demi-god, a Warren Buffet miracle man who looks in his crystal ball and sees with surety the fate of a company. No such thing at all.

Yes he likes ADOT but there's risk here, friends, no doubt there's risk. He knows there's risk and the purpose of this post is to let you know there are risks! There are risks! As with any stock, it's a question of whether or not you like, or can tolerate, the risk. By the way, did I mention there were risks?

Ok, I think I purged my soul enough. As I say I'll post later today with what info I've got on the IR company.

Regards,
Chris

I hear you. Again, if you have others co.s that you are confident will move shorter term, then I'd take it. For example, I have some GLOW and SNMM and they are both on the move now.

But, the story with ADOT is a feel good for me. Cancer diagnostics and ultimately treatment, as well as satellite based large screen outdoor media. I can't allow myself to regroup out of this one. Bought first at .32, averaged down at .26, and again at .06. 100,000 shares at a nickel is $5K.

If it hits the $1/share mark, this one's a gravy train. I'm finally learning some patience and it feels good to be accumulating at these low ends vs. peaks in my early day's of investing.

For example, I got completely burned on a company called Innovacom, MPEG. Same story as ADOT. Late, Late, Late and the stock tanked from 4$US to $.10. It too had interesting technology, although abit above my head.

ADOT could be another. But because I'm in with so many shares, and averaged low, and understand the technology better than I did MPEG's, this time I'm prepared to sit for awhile without getting too emotional.

Lastly, Les' semi-arrogant display towards us shareholders is an interesting approach - but that doesn't automatically mean that he's incapable. Delays, yes. Is the show over, not necessarily. I want to believe that his cockiness is simply a show of confidence. I'm prepared to wait this out and accumulate.
