I am a CPQ share holder that has only owned Dell computers. They have worn like iron for me. I am typing right now on a 486 66meg 3 years old at least. My point is that isolated individual experiences are misleading. Suggest to your son in law that he break b*lls and demand that they come out nd fix it.

Dell has a very big problem with service, CPQ has a real service!!

on-site service is NOT a phone call and do-it-yourself parts replacement...

You should ask for $$ back from Dell!!
