Anybody at the Vernon casino for the grand opening? This should give revenues another good boost. Kelowna casino will be the bread and butter. Only good things to come the next six months will be very interesting.

David, if you went to the Vernon Casino opening, what did you think of this establishment? I hear that it is absolutely beautiful. I'm looking forward for the Kelowna Casino Opening in May 1999. I hear that it is ahead of schedule so the opening may be sooner. We should hear about the Penticton approval soon. When final approval occurs, the ground should be broken by February with an opening in the late fall 1999.

Rumour----Lake City is looking to buy a hotel in Kelowna (not the Grand). Getting into the hotel business is a logical step for LCG. Think about all of these bus tours that have been arranged to visit various LCG casinos. The people will need a place to stay.
Any thoughts on this? Apparently this information was presented in an Okanagan Newspaper. Anyone see it?
