Wonder if ALTS will consider a settlement? I'm not sure just how large the combined plantiff's pool is. It has been consolidated down from 6 separate suits into one lead in California. ALTS at its best never established a large shareholder base. So just how many shareholders actually signed on? I can tell you this -- the product delay issue is not what the lawyers want to rely on. The lawyer's "bread & butter" issue is the restatement of earnings (bogus reporting.) Fortunately for ALTS the auditors must share in the blame here. PW has enormous (deeper & far more experienced/flexible)liability protection. It can probably take some pressure of ALTS in this way. Just thinking out loud again... -JH
