Barriers to entry are not very formidable in the internet, so loss of exclusivity (not surprising) will bring a lot of competition. However, first to market and brand recognition means a lot, just look at AMZN and YHOO. So I don't think competition per se will crash this stock. OTOH, if it does drop off the edge, I will be out since I have my stops set.

I agree with you on the potential erosion on the earnings (over 85% from domain registrations). Also, keep in mind that they may be trying to get to small business folks (reason for tie with YHOO) in preparation for the others jumping in there area and taking share away from them. Noticed per NSOL there could be more of similar companies by October 1999. I am going to investigate what other products/services do they offer and for now this does look like a good short candidate.
