Russ, Here's what I found as of 12/14/98: Shares Out (Mil) 27.90 Float (Mil) 2.80 Institutional Holdings (Mil) 10.42 And sorry, I don't know enough about bankruptcy situations to answer your question. I doubt, though, that common shareholders would fare well in a bankruptcy situation. Lots of other folks, including preferred shareholders, etc, to get taken care of first. Best to get a much more educated opinion on that from someone who understands these things! JEM
