Neon announcement...

"NEON Announces Comprehensive Product Line for Healthcare Industry
Healthcare Marketplace to Benefit from Business and Clinical Event Management Facilities and Straight Through Processing Capabilities"

Just a few comments on this announcement. As we all know, Neons attempts to enter the healthcare vertical have not been successful to date, so they bought CAI...not because it was the best, but it was all that was left out there to buy. CAI has very proprietary stuff (homegrown everything, even use a language that they developed themselves), on the other hand Neon stresses that they use standard everything...does anyone see a problem here? I suspect were looking at a real kluge which will not fly in an industry space (middleware, message brokering) that is based on using and support a standards approach to solutions.
Talk about building a house one room at a time without a blueprint and hoping that it comes out alright? ;-)
As always just my opinions, nothing more, nothing less?
