Dave >>Emory, if you're looking for SCSI backup speed, consider a Zip insider instead of a SCSI LS120: it's shipping now, it's much cheaper, its glitches should all be worked out, and it's significantly faster than the IDE LS 120 I have now. (I don't reckon that that SCSI will be faster than the IDE, as the bottlenecks don't lie with the interface.)<< As a IOM stockholder I'm always glad to see someone giving IOM a plug. My problem is I don't want 3 drives on my system. I want to hang a 2GB SCSI Jazz on it and I'd like to have something that gives me the capability of backing up 100MB or so at a time (either the LS or a Zip drive). I find it desirable to have the 100MB drive be able to read 1.44 MB floppies too. Emory
