Very significant find, here. I found the "back door" to TP headquarters...The secret thread where MS, Citi and FDC employees grapple with the development and execution of their finely-honed strategies to develop the best demos of the finest, most fully-featured, yet-to-be developed software imaginable...

TLindt..

Here's one to noodle around..

I have an on-line trading account with Fidelity,
yet for every transaction I do, I still get a written
confirmation of the trade which includes, their envelope
@ .254, the statement of the trade, and an unstamped return
envelope; occaisionally I'll get a couple of trade confirms
in the same envelope, but more often than not I get multiple
mailings from one day's trading activity..BTW Schwab does the
same thing. Since I operate in a cash account I generally don't
have to send additional funds but that would complete the
transaction in those cases where additional funds need to be
remitted. I assume that "written confirmations" are not a
legal requirement as I also maintain an active daytrading
account with another firm that faxes my activity overnite..
no written confirms at all..just the faxes and a month end
summary..

Question..who out there can/does handle trade confirmations
electronically for the industry..ie equities/options/mutual
funds/futures ..all types of trades..

I believe that on-line trade processing will be as big or
bigger than other forms of e-commerce in terms of the
number of completed transactions..

TIA
