<Colin Powell's OK, as far as I know. I've mentioned his name here before, with no detectable groundswell being evident. But, he didn't much feel like running in the last election, where the atmosphere was somewhat less poisonous. What makes you think he's going to run now? What makes you think the moral reformationist wing of the Republican party will find him acceptable? He seems to have a dreaded whiff of "moderate" about him, which probably won't go down well with the red meat crowd.> He'll run because he is OK with even guys like you, and he is more than OK with even guys like me. He'll run because Russia is in a shamble, the Middle East and Asia are powder kegs, and the Military is demoralized. He'll run because soon enough, with or without Clinton President, people will beg him to run.
