Clinton will come out as the winner in this impeachment saga.

First: Henry Hyde has maded the Republicans look like a fool by ignoring the people's wishes
Two: Hyde rejects censuring the president as an option
Three: The Republicans will vote Thursday along party line to impeach the president even though they have received mails and phone call from their contituents to do otherwise. Congressmen/women are afraid of majority whip DeLay who threathens them if going againts party line.
Four: the Senate does not have the vote to throw out Clinton

Outcome: Clinton will stay in office, and he won't be censured.

Cost: The country is neglected by Washington due to devoting time to impeachment. Republicans will bear the wrath of the people and might become the minority party again in January 2001.

Right now as long as Dell stays above 65 we'll be OK

Law is law no matter what the polls say, period. He should be impeached or resign.
