True, but it seems that if optical lithography is able to extend further and EUV (INTEL's choice!) research moves along quickly, the window of opportunity for XRL could be squeezed out.

SEMATECH roadmap: sematech.org

This wouldn't mean that nobody would use XRL and that JMAR wouldn't have a large market for their source, but I doubt it is going to be the NGL choice of SEMATECH. Of course things could change...

Betty, I don't think it is an issue of getting back into the running. JMAR is ready to go to market in less than 1 year, if anything the conference was about the generation of technology after JMAR from the way I see it at this point.
