Go back to the beginning of the exchange, Andrew, and you will see that what Darrell and I were discussing was "socialism" and "socialists". The basic question, as I understand it, was: does socialism lead to communism? And the secondary one was, have all self-described socialists supported communism? It never fails to astound me how people will plunge in the middle of a discussion, seize on a word out of context, and then use that as a platform for some sort of self-righteous oration. jbe
