<<Everybody's going to suddenly come around and see the "truth and justice" concerns behind the inquisition? I doubt it.>>

Of course not everybody. But, when did it stop being the foundation of the American dream? Its almost like some of you think it is passe. Is it? What happened? Is it impossible to return it as a standard? Why is it not the focal point of this discussion?

Impartial pollsters around the world are aware of what they call the "lying factor", wherein the person being polled deliberately lies when he/she answers a question.

The most popular example of the "lying factor" that pollsters around the world give is when a Republican is asked about whether or not he/she voted for the candidate from his/her own party when the candidate happens to be an African-American, and the Democratic Party candidate is a white.

Pollsters have noted that there is a HUGE variance between the results of the exit polls and the actual results in such cases. What happens is that even though the voter tells the pollster that he/she has voted Republican, in reality he/she has voted against the candidate because the candidate happened to be Black!

So, let's forget about Powell (or any other African-American) EVER being nominated for President from the Republican Party.
