Dave-

I buy and hold stock for long term. I buy and sell options for short term plays where every 1/8th of a point can be very significant.

FWIW..

DAVID L WASYLENKO;

I agree, that SEG will go much higher. My guess is 60 by this time next year. I hold 4800 shares so every point is 5 grand to me. Do I sound like I'm a short term investor? But hcirteg here is the trader and I'm along for the dialogue and the ride. This is fun to do so long as, its not my money. I have been burned badly in options and I'm chicken hearted. Yes, 1/8s can be 1,000 -2,000 bucks in your pocket or out, depending on how many options you hold.

Seriously, for me its a good way to test the way I read the market, the insiders and the institutions. It is also a good way to confirm or disconfirm my opinion of the stock's direction. Right now, that is very important to me for obvious reasons. hcirteg is great fun to talk to and I get to watch him do battle, sometimes.
