You should try it sometime. The Constitution mentions "high crimes and misdemeanors". A high crime is defined as a felony. Perjury is a felony. Since there is no such thing as a "high misdemeanor" then it stands to reason that even if perjury were only classified as a misdemeanor it wouldn't matter. It would still come under the umbrella of impeachment marterial.
