I agree with you that we have to consider the motives of the Sematech voters. It means nothing. It would be just like these companies to vote EUV, and then step up their XRL programs behind close doors. Did anyone believe that the "vote" would come down to the merits of the technology? The fact that they even took a vote is laughable. Nothing has changed that we didn't already know. XRL may have a limited window for dominance, but a company like IBM could exploit that opportunity.
