Actually Claude. The suit is based on loss of property , loss of opportunity, loss of a viable business. Then restarting costs associated with restarting a plan for Rock. Damages etc etc etc. The value of the land is not disputable unless the government disputes KPMG's assessment. I am sure rock can get another assessment saying the same thing.

There is no doubt they will get a settlement...its just how much is the dispute.
It think differently than you....If somebody takes away your only form of livelihood you are entitled to damages and money associated with you starting work in a new business...training etc etc. So this is all Rock is asking for!! I give them a high chance of recovery. In fact if this goes to an arbritateur, they will make the BC gov lose more!!

Note....the company geologist that got 7 million had no reserves or tonnage

We will see!!
