Well; even if we aren't, Short MDY, and go long Spy, then close the
one that seems wrong as a trend sets in. If you Long Spy and short MDY, over time you can't get hurt, leg out of one on strong trends.
Be in both on mixed signals. ( allocate the same cash amount for
each position when in both ) MDY will always trail SPY over any
extended period of time, all other things equal the spread gives you an edge. The way they are made up it's like having in a fix.
