Yes, and the Republicans are in general very respectful of that system, at least when business interests complain about it. The civil court system of paid experts is worshipped throughout the world as a beacon of "truth and justice", as many proclaim here.

Perhaps we could move to Lee Kwan Yew's system in Singapore, where the political opposition is routinely sued into bankruptcy. We'll have to wait till the Republicans control the oval office for that one, though.
