Your post made little sense to me. I don't even understand why you responded to my post. You clearly have nothing intelligent to add to the mix, unlike some of the other conservatives here. I'd prefer it if you didn't respond to any of my posts. However, I respect your right to do so.

Why should I want to say that they didn't nominate him because he's black? I would love for the GOP to nominate Powell. I think it would give a big boost to the GOP. But I was asking JBL, someone who (unlike yourself) has been a shining example of cordiality on this thread, whether Colin Powell could get the nomination despite his a) being black in a party with a large number of Southern white males who view blacks as racially inferior, b) being pro-choice, and c) support of some affirmative action policies.
