Jim OT Did you know that they did precisely that with Linda Smith's senatorial bid against Patty Murray, because Smith was a strong proponent of closing down soft money loopholes? Apparently, being a right wing zealot isn't enough for the Republican lynch mob. You have to pass each of their litmus tests to be certified. For those of you who disbelieve this, check it out. It made front page news in Washington State. TTFN, CTC

~OT~ Jim, I did respond by asking you whether or not you thought the President was playing politics right now, too. Taking Congressmen (who just happened to be undecided on this issue) on the trip to Israel smells of political arm twisting (or at worse, some type of bribery). I guess that didn't work. BTW, what is your source for the RNC cutting off funds to those Republicans that don't support impeachment???? (You still didn't answer me either on what your source was for knowing what the will of the American people is in this matter...But then again, I already new what the answer was anyway...) R, LoD
