EFI sets stage for shares sale (Hong Kong)

scmp.com

<< Exchange Fund Investment (EFI) is setting the machinery in place for the disposal of its stock portfolio with the creation of a panel to advise on a sale.

The company yesterday said it would appoint the advisers soon and listed four possible methods of selling the portfolio, valued at $158 billion as of last Friday.

This is the clearest sign so far that the Government is following through with its avowed intention to dispose of the stake when market conditions are suitable. >>

HK$ I believe, but still a large amount to sell.
