Edward :

I've been following this thread for over two years now and people have always said and will continue to say whatever they please.

IMO, negative statements are more powerful than positive ones because they tend to create a panic and in some cases become self full filling.

When watching reports on the weather, reports of snow cause many to flood the supermarkets to stock up for the week. Report of a sunfilled weekend, on the other hand, are often met with a "wait and see" attitude. Yelling fire in a crowded theatre is a sure way to create a panic.

Zeev has every right to say what he wants and when he wants too. Whether right or wrong, researched or off the cuff, anyone can post. It's up to the individual to weed out and wade through. Complete their own DD and invest as they see fit.

Happy Holidays (and posting) to one and all!

Ed,
You can rest assured that Zeev won't be scared off this thread. He has nothing to scare him.
Although I am in disagreement with him, I would not want him to fade into the sunset. It is unfortunate that the timing of price slump coincides with the time period for new pricing basis for the securities involved. It muddies the water.
Be that as it may, I do not like to see personal attacks on the thread, and hope that I have never appeared to be making such. I did say that Razor was a cynic, and I followed that with my comment that being a cynic isn't always bad.
Anyone associated with oil at the present time has got to feel beaten up. (Whether it be by investing or by direct involvement). I know that my nerves are "on end" because my life and livelihood are (unfortunately) hinged on the oil industry.
We have a great forum here on SI for HEC and many other stocks. It will be to our advantage to remain open minded and respectful of all opinions. We each can learn from the other. Respect is the key.
No one is right all of the time.
Rod

I agree with you - Zeev, hang in there!

I don't like what you are saying but I need to hear it.

Just like FOXYLOXY on abacf - and turns out she/he was 100% correct.

Thanks for your comments
