E, please quote me correctly: I asked if you knew of a slandersuit filing. I also said I had NOT heard of one being filed, (which is why I asked in the first place.) By no means was I implying that if I hadn't heard of one then there must not be one, ipso facto. **************************************************OKAY????? I was bringing up a "sacred cow" related to a known liar. To bring this to gold's relevance... I had to laff outloud at a local ABC affiliate tackling the Y2K problem on Sunday night prime time hour "soundbyte." One of the honored guests was our local electric utility, who was trying to assure everyone that "they were going to make sure nothing happens to make it impossible for us to provide electric service 1/1/00" This is the very same company who lied to the electorate in a recent election in order to make sure that local taxpayers paid for the shut-down of Trojan NPP instead of it being born by the stockholders of PG&E. How'd they do that? Paraded all kinds of upper management suits on local evening news promising that Trojan would NOT be shut down, that everything was hunky dory with our NPP, ad nauseum. Within 30 days of the election going their way, they promptly CLOSED TROJAN and local tax base is paying for the shut-down/decommissioning of TROJAN. And this guy wants the guilible locals to believe he's got all his embedded switches changed out, and that HIS back up generators will provide emergency power for longer than 8-24 hours? Yeah, right. And gold isn't money, right? Just a curiousity, an anomaly that ole Hutch has devoted his life to disparaging and is now going to be licensed to disparage it and make a living doing so... funny how things turn out ain't it? And t'fat lady's warming up in the Congressional wings...Danny or no Danny!
