Everett - I get the privilege based upon my unending desire to pay outrageous commsions and sub-par customer service for over 10 years. Is that considered loyalty or stupidity? I could argue either way. In all seriousness though, I am of their "select" (I think that is the term they use) customers and that entitles me to some allocation of IPO shares when they get some. It is not guarranteed of course. They deal with three underwriters: H&Q, CS First Boston & another biggy, I don't recall which. If interested, call the service team and ask how to get involved. The number to the IPO dept. is either 888-schwabipo or 800-schwabipo, I don't recall off the top of my head. I am sure they will refer you first to your customer team however. Good luck TJ
