There is often method in the madness, so to speak...but often what seems trivial and meaningless is just that, trivial and meaningless. I've seen several penny stocks go to great lengths to try to convince people that they're legit. It can range from buying worthless real estate, false PR's, dropping well-known names, etc...

Placing links on their web page still seems meaningless. It does nothing to enhance their position, attracts nothing...it's like a "macro". I see no benefit in this except as another way to get your attention as a potential investor. Links are one thing, but referrals are another. It looks like a facade to me...something to placate investors as long as they can. "Where's the beef?"......
